I would like to introduce myself; my name is Lisa Wisler.  I grew up in the Skagit Valley and have spent the past 12 years working with children from all over the world.  It has always been a dream of mine to work with children and thus early on I earned a degree in Early Childhood Education.  I worked as a program supervisor for KinderCare Learning Centers, I then decided to spend the next 7 years as a missionary serving children in many different cultures. I spent over a year in a Bolivian orphanage looking after 120 beautiful girls with a focus on infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.  Many people learn First Aid but living in a developing country I actually had to implement these procedures.  I’ve also spent time on the East Coast working with kids in inner cities including Harlem, Bridgeport CT, Washington DC and Philadelphia. One of my most memorable moments in teaching was helping a group of students that were over a half-year behind to catch up within six months, and even exceed the state standard.  I cherished my time as a missionary but decided to bring my love and passion of working with children back to my hometown. Little Sprouts Preschool has been opend since 2015 and since I have had over 150 students pass through my doors.  I’m more than excited about my little school and I know it’s a fabulous place for children to grow and learn!
